Liquidity
Create and manage DEX liquidity
Learn how to create a token and WETH liquidity pool, set the opening price, add liquidity, and understand LP tokens on Robinhood Chain.
How liquidity works
A token/WETH pool holds both assets and lets users swap between them. The ratio of tokens to ETH establishes the opening pool price. Adding or removing liquidity changes your share of the pool, while swaps move the reserves and market price.
Create the opening pool
- 1Open Liquidity and select Create Pool.
- 2Enter the token contract address and confirm the loaded token details.
- 3Choose the token amount and ETH amount, or use the USD helper to understand the opening price.
- 4Approve the token amount for the DEX router.
- 5Submit the add-liquidity transaction and wait for the LP tokens to arrive in your wallet.
The opening ratio matters
The first liquidity deposit establishes the starting pool price. A wrong ratio can immediately expose the pool to arbitrage and permanent value changes.
Manage an existing pool
Use Manage Pool to search by token address, inspect the token/WETH pair, add more liquidity, or remove liquidity represented by LP tokens in the connected wallet.
