Token creation
How to create a token on Robinhood Chain
A step-by-step RobinSmith guide to creating standard, advanced, reflection, or deflationary tokens on Robinhood Chain.
Choose the token type
- Simple standard token: fixed supply with the smallest configuration surface.
- Advanced standard token: optional trading controls, taxes, transaction limits, and wallet limits.
- Reflection token: redistributes the configured reflection fee according to its token rules.
- Deflationary token: burns the configured portion of transfers according to its token rules.
Choose features carefully
Token controls and taxes change how buyers can transfer or trade. Publish only settings you can clearly explain to users.
Create the token
- 1Open Create token and connect the wallet that should initially own the token.
- 2Enter the token name, symbol, supply, and supported configuration values.
- 3Review the summary, token creation fee, and estimated wallet requirement.
- 4Confirm the creation transaction in your wallet.
- 5Save the new token contract address and verify its details on the token page and block explorer.
After creation
The connected wallet becomes the token owner. Use Manage tokens for the controls enabled by that token type. You can also publish a logo, description, and social links from the token detail page when the Token Profile Registry is configured.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can I change the total token supply later?+
Do not assume that supply can be changed. The available behavior depends on the token contract selected during creation and the controls exposed on its management page.
Who owns a newly created token?+
The wallet that completes the creation transaction is configured as the initial token owner.
